Heather Vaughan,
your college coach
Heather brings over fifteen years of educational experience to her role as a college coach. After graduating cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles, she served as a Fulbright scholar in Mexico, helping her students find their voices in a new language. Since then, she has worked as a college admissions essay specialist and as an admissions coach for students across the United States, Latin America, and beyond. She has also worked in admissions at Johns Hopkins University and Boston University. Heather’s expertise and compassionate approach have helped her students gain admission to Ivy League institutions, the University of California system, and dozens of other highly selective schools across the US and the world.
Maya de la Torre,
your admin extraordinaire
Maya is passionate about encouraging students to reach their full academic potential and guiding them through an exciting chapter of their lives. As a former EducationUSA Advisor, Maya served students in southern México to apply as international students to universities and fellowships in the United States. Maya has also worked within the non-profit sector as a case manager and application preparer for various immigration legal aid organizations. A transfer student herself, Maya studied at Maine Maritime Academy before earning her bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont.
